Hi, I'm Sofi

I’m an artist and author based in Miami, FL, working across live art, illustration, watercolor, acrylics, and portraiture. I also write and illustrate books, blending visual storytelling with personal connection. My work centers around capturing real people, real moments, and creating meaningful art experiences—on the page, on canvas, and at live events.

About me

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even while I worked in digital animation, I was always filling up sketchbooks and drawing people on the side. When AI began to change the animation world, I took it as a sign to return to what I’ve always loved most—hands-on, human-centered art.

I’ve found my true calling in drawing people. There's something deeply meaningful about capturing someone’s essence on paper and seeing their face light up when they see themselves reflected back through my work.

In my spare time, I’m usually out doing plein air painting, urban sketching, writing my book, hanging with my family, or training for my next marathon.
