Hi, I'm Sofi

I’m an artist and author based in Miami, FL, working across live art, illustration, watercolor, acrylics, and portraiture. I also write and illustrate books, blending visual storytelling with personal connection. My work centers around capturing real people, real moments, and creating meaningful art experiences—on the page, on canvas, and at live events.

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even while I worked in digital animation, I was always filling up sketchbook with people and the world around me. When AI began to change the animation world, I took it as a sign to return to what I’ve always loved most—hands-on, human-centered art.

I’ve found my true calling in making art; hand to pencil, paint to canvas, ink on paper. Tangile, real and grounding forms of creation.

A beautiful extension of this expression is drawing peoples portraits. There's something deeply meaningful about capturing someone’s essence on paper and seeing their face light up when they see themselves reflected back through my work.

In my spare time, I’m usually out doing plein air painting, urban sketching, reading/writing, hanging with my family and friends, or training for my next marathon.
